Your Questions Answered

What is Nihon JuJutsu?
Nihon JuJutsu (Japanese Jujutsu), often translated as "Japanese Jujutsu" or "Traditional Jujutsu," refers to classical martial arts systems that originated before the Meiji Restoration (1868). These arts were developed by samurai during the feudal era and encompass a wide range of armed and unarmed combat techniques.

It focuses on self-defense, controlling the attacker, and neutralizing threats efficiently. Unlike sport-oriented systems such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, it is more tactical and designed for practical self-protection. It emphasizes efficiency, leverage, timing, and positioning over brute strength.
